Join our partners Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and The Mountaineers to provide some tender loving care to a badly eroded trail serving the most popular crag near Darrington. Three O’Clock Rock is a remarkable slab of granite overlooking a wild mountain valley. Climbers have been going there since 1969.

For this project, the Forest Service has asked us to limit the number of project participants. For this reason volunteers are asked to sign up for this project at The Mountaineers’ website. That portion of their site is intended to serve members of The Mountaineers who have ongoing involvement in programs involving stewardship credit and badges and the like. Don’t worry: you don’t have to be a member to sign up and you need not worry about “credit.”
For 20 years we have been working with the Forest Service to keep the road and trail open for Three O’Clock Rock and other historic Darrington climbing destinations. In fact, there have been a few times when the road would have been closed without our efforts, and the trail has been in jeopardy as well. Please join us on June 4, 2016, to continue the good work!
